Volunteers at CEAP make a huge difference. You can help people as an individual or with a group.

Volunteer Opportunities at CEAP

CEAP continues to rely on a core base of volunteers who give their time on a weekly or monthly basis through our daily programs and services.

Give your time to CEAP and make an impact in your community! If you’re available for a regular weekly or monthly volunteer shift, we are excited to talk more with you about what volunteer options currently exist.

Volunteers are assisting in the packing of CEAP Essentials, sorting food rescue, and providing curbside grocery service to participants. We’ve taken extra measures to ensure the wellness and safety of our volunteers, which is our top priority at CEAP. CEAP has increased our sanitation measures, and are requiring all staff and volunteers to wear a mask (provided if you do not have one), wash hands regularly, and maintain social distancing.

If you are interested in volunteering at CEAP, we are currently looking for volunteers for specific days and times! Here are our current volunteer opportunities:

Grocery packing: Monday-Thursday 8:30am to 12:00pm and 12:00-3:30pm.

Curbside grocery pick-up: Monday-Thursday 8:30am to 12:00pm and 12:00-3:30pm.

Food receiving/sorting: Monday-Thursday 8:30am to 12:00pm and 12:00-3:30pm.

Meals on Wheels driving: Monday-Friday 10:30am to about 12:00pm (must have a valid driver's license and provide your own vehicle)

Please indicate your interest by registering with CEAP's VolunteerMatters portal. If you have questions, you can reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator by sending an email to volunteer@ceap.com or calling 763-450-3679. We hope to hear from you!

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to accommodate community service and education service hours requirements. This change was implemented during COVID-19 and court- or school-mandated service hour requirements cannot be completed at CEAP.

Internship Program

CEAP's internship program is designed to introduce interns to the inner workings of a non-profit through hands-on experience, education, and mentorship. The program includes presentations from special speakers, professional development support, educational sessions, and culminates in a final project presentation to CEAP staff and board members. Final project topics will be decided by each intern and their direct supervisor. The length of this program is approximately 10 weeks, with flexible start and end dates depending on your scheduling needs.
