The 1972 Legacy Community: Generosity for Generations
Grow our community and your legacy by making a planned gift to CEAP. Your thoughtful generosity ensures that CEAP’s mission and our community grow stronger in the future while providing you with financial benefits that may include tax deductions now.
Benefits
Control: You are able to make a generous gift while maintaining control of your assets during your life
Flexibility: You can change your plans at any time and can provide for your loved ones and still leave a gift for our community.
Financial: Your current income is not affected and there may be tax advantages to your gift. Please check with your tax advisor!
Legacy: You plant the seeds to grow a stronger community for generations to come.
How It Works:
You can make a gift by including CEAP as a beneficiary in your will or revocable trust and indicating a specific dollar amount or a percentage of what remains after you’ve provided for your loved ones. You can also name CEAP as a beneficiary or your IRA, 401(k) or life insurance plan by working with your plan administrator.
To include a gift for CEAP and our community in your will or trust, we suggest using the following language: “I give [the sum, percentage, or description of property] to Community Emergency Assistance Programs (CEAP), 7051 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429, to be used by CEAP for the benefit of [description of program] or wherever the needs and opportunities are greatest.”
Name: Community Emergency Assistance Programs
Address: 7051 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429
Federal Tax ID number: 41-0990340
CEAP’s development team can work with you to customize this language and ensure that it accurately reflects your wishes and intentions and will be used in a way that is most meaningful to you. Your gift can also be unrestricted, which means that it will be used for the greatest need at the time it is received.
If you plan to include CEAP in your will or trust, please let us know so that we are able to celebrate you and your gift during your lifetime! Contact Katy Briggs at katy.briggs@ceap.com or (763) 450-3663 for more information.
