National Foundation for Credit Counseling: Currently providing Financial Counselors around the clock to help with Financial Hardship during this Covid 19 pandemic time. Get emergency Credit Card payment help.  Get mortgage forbearance help. Here you can find local NFCC member agencies that provide debt management plans and free financial counseling.

Hennepin County General Financial Assistance

General Assistance: Helps people without children pay for basic needs

MN Supplemental Aid: Cash assistance for adults who receive social security income (SSI)

Refugee Cash Assistance: Refugee or asylum seekers who are ineligible for SSI or MFIP for up to 8 months after arrival.

County Refugee Services: Resettlement, food, income, and other services for refugees or asylum seekers 

Hennepin County Emergency Assistance Program: Hennepin County Emergency Assistance Program (HCEAP) provides short term assistance with foreclosure prevention, rent, damage deposit, emergency shelter, home repairs, moving expenses, utility bills, transportation for homeless families, and special diets.
